أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ خَيْبَرَ، أُهْدِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةٌ فِيهَا سُمٌّ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" اجْمَعُوا لِي مَنْ كَانَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ الْيَهُودِ "، فَجُمِعُوا لَهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي سَائِلُكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْهُ؟ "، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ، يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَبُوكُمْ؟ "، قَالُوا : أَبُونَا فُلَانٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَذَبْتُمْ، بَلْ أَبُوكُمْ فُلَانٌ "، قَالُوا : صَدَقْتَ وَبَرَرْتَ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ : " هَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ؟ "، فَقَالُوا : نَعَمْ، وَإِنْ كَذَبْنَاكَ، عَرَفْتَ كَذِبَنَا كَمَا عَرَفْتَهُ فِي آبَائِنَا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَمَنْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ؟ "، فَقَالُوا : نَكُونُ فِيهَا يَسِيرًا ثُمَّ تَخْلِفُونَنا فِيهَا، قَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا، وَاللَّهِ لَا نَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا أَبَدًا "، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ : " هَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ؟ "، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " هَلْ جَعَلْتُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الشَّاةِ سُمًّا؟ "، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " مَا حَمَلَكُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ؟ "، قَالُوا : أَرَدْنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ كَاذِبًا أَنْ نَسْتَرِيحَ مِنْكَ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Gather for me those who There were some Jews here.” So they gathered for him, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them: “I am asking you about something. Are you Are you telling the truth about him? They said: Yes, Abu al-Qasim. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them: “Who is your father?” They said: Our father is so-and-so. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “You lied, but your father is so-and-so.” They said: You told the truth and you were justified. So he said to them: “Are you telling the truth about me?” “Something if I asked you about it?” They said: “Yes, even if we tell you a lie. You will know that we lied just as you knew it about our fathers.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them. Peace and blessings be upon him: “Who are the people of Hell? They said: We will be in it for a short period of time, then you will leave us behind in it. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them: “Submit yourself in it, and God will not We will never differ from you in it.” Then he said to them: “Are you telling the truth about something if I asked you about it? They said: Yes. He said: Did you put poison in this sheep? They said: Yes. He said: What made you do that? They said: We wanted to find relief from you if you were a liar, and if you were a prophet it would not harm you.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً مِنْ أَهْلِ خَيْبَرَ سَمَّتْ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً، ثُمَّ أَهْدَتْهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا الذِّرَاعَ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، وَأَكَلَ الرَّهْطُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مَعَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ "، وَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْيَهُودِيَّةِ فَدَعَاهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " أَسَمَمْتِ هَذِهِ الشَّاةَ؟ "، فَقَالَتْ : نَعَمْ، وَمَنْ أَخْبَرَكَ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَخْبَرَتْنِي هَذِهِ فِي يَدِيَ : لِلذِّرَاعِ "، قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " فَمَاذَا أَرَدْتِ إِلَى ذَلِكَ؟ "، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : إِنْ كَانَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيًّا، اسْتَرَحْنَا مِنْهُ، " فَعَفَا عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَمْ يُعَاقِبْهَا "، وَتُوُفِّيَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ الَّذِينَ أَكَلُوا مِنْ الشَّاةِ، " وَاحْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى كَاهِلِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الَّذِي أَكَلَ مِنْ الشَّاةِ "، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو هِنْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ، بِالْقَرْنِ وَالشَّفْرَةِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ بَنِي ثُمَامَةَ، وَهُمْ حَيٌّ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ

So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “You told me this is in my hand: for the arm.” She said: Yes. He said: “So what did you want by that?” She said: I said: If he was a prophet, it would not harm him, and if he was not a prophet, we would be relieved of him. “Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, pardoned her and did not punish her.” And some of his companions who ate from the sheep died, “and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used cupping on his shoulder because of the one who ate from the sheep.” Abu Hind is a client of Banu Bayadah, by horn and blade, and he is from Banu Thumama, and they are still alive from the Ansar.

أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو اللَّيْثِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَأْكُلُ الْهَدِيَّةَ، وَلَا يَقْبَلُ الصَّدَقَةَ، فَأَهْدَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ يَهُودِ خَيْبَرَ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً، فَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا، وَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْبَرَاءِ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ :" إِنَّ هَذِهِ تُخْبِرُنِي أَنَّهَا مَسْمُومَةٌ "، فَمَاتَ بِشْرُ بْنُ الْبَرَاءِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا حَمَلَكِ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتِ؟ "، فَقَالَتْ : إِنْ كُنْتَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ شَيْءٌ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مَلِكًا، أَرَحْتُ النَّاسَ مِنْكَ، فَقَالَ : فِي مَرَضِهِ : " مَا زِلْتُ مِنْ الْأَكْلَةِ الَّتِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ، فَهَذَا أَوَانُ انْقِطَاعِ أَبْهَرِي "

Ja`far ibn Aoun informed us, Muhammad ibn Amr al-Laythi informed us, on the authority of Abu Salamah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was: He eats gifts and does not accept charity, so a woman from the Jews of Khaybar gave him a praying sheep, so he ate some of it, and Bishr ibn Al-Baraa, then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised his hand and said: “This woman tells me that she is poisoned.” Bishr ibn Al-Baraa died, so he sent The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked her: “What made you do what you did?” She said: If you were a prophet, nothing would harm you, and if you were a king, I would comfort the people. From you, and he said: During his illness: “I have stopped eating the food that I ate in Khaybar, so this is the time for my aorta to stop.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَمْ يَسْلُكْ طَرِيقًا أَوْ لَا يَسْلُكُ طَرِيقًا، فَيَتْبَعُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ سَلَكَهُ مِنْ طِيبِ عَرْفِهِ "، أَوْ قَالَ : مِنْ رِيحِ عَرَقِهِ

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يُعْرَفُ بِاللَّيْلِ بِطيبِ الرِّيحِ "

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ : أَرَأَيْتَ كَانَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ السَّيْفِ؟، قَالَ :" لَا، مِثْلَ الْقَمَرِ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Zuhayr told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Baraa, he said: A man asked him: Did you see the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? Peace be upon him, like a sword? He said: “No, like the moon.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ خُدْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي حُرَيْشٍ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي حِينَ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَلَمَّا أَخَذَتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ أُرْعِبْتُ،" فَضَمَّنِي إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَالَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَرَقِ إِبْطِهِ مِثْلُ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ "

Muhammad bin Yazid Al-Rifa’i told us, Abu Bakr told us, on the authority of Habib bin Khudra, a man from Banu Harish told me, he said: I was with my father When the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stoned Ma’iz bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, when the stones seized him, I was terrified. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا قَالَ لِي : أُفٍّ قَطُّ، وَلَا قَالَ لِي لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ : لِمَ صَنَعْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا أَوْ هَلَّا صَنَعْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَقَالَ : لَا وَاللَّهِ مَا مَسِسْتُ بِيَدِي دِيبَاجًا، وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَا وَجَدْتُ رِيحًا قَطُّ أَوْ عَرْفًا كَانَ أَطْيَبَ مِنْ عَرْفِ أَوْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "

Abu Al-Numan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, who said: “I served the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. He never said to me: “Ugh,” nor did he say to me about something I did: “Why did you do such-and-such” or “Why did you do such-and-such,” and he said: “No.” By God, I have never touched with my hand any brocade or silk softer than the hand of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, nor have I ever found a scent or perfume that was more pleasant than… The scent of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.”

أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَزْهَرَ اللَّوْنِ كَأَنَّ عَرَقَهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ، إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ، وَمَا مَسِسْتُ حَرِيرَةً وَلَا دِيبَاجَةً أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّهِ، وَلَا شَمِمْتُ رَائِحَةً قَطُّ أَطْيَبُ مِنْ رَائِحَتِهِ : مِسْكَةً وَلَا غَيْرَهَا "

Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, Thabit told us, on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was “Peace and blessings of God be upon him.” His color became bright, as if his veins were pearls. When he walked, he would be bent over, and I have never touched a garment or brocade softer than his palm, nor have I smelled anything softer than his palm. The scent of a cat is better than its scent: musk or anything else.”

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : لِلرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ : صِفِي لَنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا بُنَيَّ" لَوْ رَأَيْتَهُ، رَأَيْتَ الشَّمْسَ طَالِعَةً "

Ibrahim bin Al-Mundhir Al-Hazami told us, Ubayd Allah bin Musa told us, Usama bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Abu Ubaidah bin Muhammad bin Ammar bin Yasser said: I said to Al-Rabi’ bint Mu’awwidh bin Afra: Describe for us the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
