أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي طَاوُسٌ :" اذْهَبْ بِنَا نُجَالِسْ النَّاسَ "

Muhammad bin Ahmad told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr, he said: Tawus said to me: “Go and sit with the people.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْريَّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" تَذَاكَرُوا الْحَدِيثَ، فَإِنَّ الْحَدِيثَ يُهَيِّجُ الْحَدِيثَ "، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَن أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَن أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَسْلَمَةَ يُعْنِي، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَن أَبي سَعيدٍ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ هَذَا

Abu Muammar told us, on the authority of Hushaym, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, who said: “Remember Hadith, for hadith irritates hadith.” Abu Muammar told us, on the authority of Abu Muawiyah, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, and Ibn Ulayya, on the authority of Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, Abu Maslamah told us, meaning, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Saeed, and there are more words in it than this.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" تَذَاكَرُوا الْحَدِيثَ، فَإِنَّ الْحَدِيثَ يُهَيِّجُ الْحَدِيثَ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, he said “Remember the hadith, for the hadith stimulates the hadith.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، وَأَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ :" تَذَاكَرُوا الْحَدِيثَ، فَإِنَّ الْحَدِيثَ يُهَيِّجُ الْحَدِيثَ "

Asad bin Musa told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Jariri, and Abu Maslamah, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, he said: “Remember the hadith, for the hadith stimulates the hadith.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّأَزْهَدَ النَّاسِ فِي عَالِمٍ أَهْلُهُ "

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ "، فَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِذَا حَدَّثَ قَالَ : إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُونِي أُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ تَجِدُوهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ حَسَنًا عِنْدَ النَّاسِ، فَاعْلَمُوا أَنِّي قَدْ كَذَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ

Abu Muammar Ismail bin Ibrahim told us, on the authority of Salih bin Omar, on the authority of Asim bin Kulayb, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, he said: Whenever he narrated on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he would say: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever lies to me? intentionally, so let him take his seat in the Fire.” Whenever Ibn Abbas narrated, he would say: If you heard me narrate on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace And you did not find him in the Book of God, or in good standing with the people, so know that I lied about him.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" إِذَا حُدِّثْتُمْ شَيْئًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى، وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى، وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَأُ "

Abu Nu’aym told us, Mas’ar told us, on the authority of Amr ibn Murrah, on the authority of Abu al-Bakhtari, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman al-Sulami, on the authority of Ali May God be pleased with him, he said: “If you narrate something on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and think of it as the one who is most guided, and the one who is the most pious, And he who is better prepared.”

أَخْبَرَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ، قَالَ :" إِذَا حُدِّثْتُمْ بِالْحَدِيثِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَأُ، وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى، وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى "

Nuaym bin Hammad told us, Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Aoun bin Abdullah, on the authority of Ibn Masoud May God be pleased with him, he said: “If you narrate a hadith on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, then think of him as the one who is most fit, and the one who He is the best guided, and He is the most pious.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ " أَنَّهُحَدَّثَ يَوْمًا بِحَدِيثٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مَا يُخَالِفُ هَذَا؟، قَالَ : لَا أُرَانِي أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتُعَرِّضُ فِيهِ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْلَمَ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْكَ "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ya’la bin Hakim, on the authority of Saeed bin Jubayr, “One day he narrated a hadith On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. A man said: What is in the Book of God that contradicts this? He said: I do not see me telling you about the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And you present therein the Book of God. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was more knowledgeable about the Book of God Almighty than you.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، قَالَ :" السُّنَّةُ سُنَّتَانِ : سُنَّةٌ الْأَخْذُ بِهَا فَرِيضَةٌ، وَتَرْكُهَا كُفْرٌ، وَسُنَّةٌ الْأَخْذُ بِهَا فَضِيلَةٌ، وَتَرْكُهَا إِلَى غَيْرِ حَرَجٍ "

Muhammad ibn Kathir told us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, on the authority of Makhoul, who said: “The Sunnah is two Sunnahs: the Sunnah is to adopt it as an obligation, and to abandon it is blasphemy. It is a good practice to follow it and leave it without embarrassment.”
