أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ : يَخْطُبُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ الْمِنْبَرَ، فَلَمَّا اتَّخَذَ الْمِنْبَرَ وَتَحَوَّلَ إِلَيْهِ، حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ، فَاحْتَضَنَهُ، فَسَكَنَ "، وَقَالَ :" لَوْ لَمْ أَحْتَضِنْهُ، لَحَنَّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ "، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، بِمِثْلِهِ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الصَّعْقُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، يَقُولُ : لَمَّا أَنْ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ جَعَلَ" يُسْنِدُ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى خَشَبَةٍ وَيُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ "، فَكَثُرُوا حَوْلَهُ، فَأَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَهُمْ، فَقَالَ : " ابْنُوا لِي شَيْئًا أَرْتَفِعُ عَلَيْهِ "، قَالُوا : كَيْفَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ؟، قَالَ : " عَرِيشٌ كَعَرِيشِ مُوسَى "، فَلَمَّا أَنْ بَنَوْا لَهُ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ : حَنَّتْ وَاللَّهِ الْخَشَبَةُ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ! هَلْ تُبْتَغَى قُلُوبُ قَوْمٍ سَمِعُوا؟ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ : يَعْنِي هَذَا

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَخْطُبُ إِلَى لِزْقِ جِذْعٍ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ رُومِيٌّ، فَقَالَ : أَصْنَعُ لَكَ مِنْبَرًا تَخْطُبُ عَلَيْهِ، فَصَنَعَ لَهُ مِنْبَرًا هَذَا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ، قَالَ : فَلَمَّا قَامَ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ حَنِينَ النَّاقَةِ إِلَى وَلَدِهَا، فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَضَمَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَسَكَنَ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ أَنْ يُحْفَرَ لَهُ وَيُدْفَنَ "

Abdullah bin Saeed narrated to us, Abu Usama narrated to us, on the authority of Mujalid, on the authority of Abu Al-Wadak, on the authority of Abu Saeed, may God be pleased with him, he said: It was The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Delivering a sermon to Lazq Jazm. Then a Roman man came to him and said: I will make you a pulpit on which you can sermon.” So he made it for him. This is the pulpit that you see. He said: When the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, rose to deliver the sermon, the trunk bent down like a she-camel’s longing for her calf, so he descended to him. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took him to him and he settled down, so he ordered him to have a pit dug for him and buried.”

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يُصَلِّي إِلَى جِذْعٍ وَيَخْطُبُ إِلَيْهِ إِذْ كَانَ الْمَسْجِدُ عَرِيشًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ : أَلَا نَجْعَلُ لَكَ عَرِيشًا تَقُومُ عَلَيْهِ يَرَاكَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَتُسْمِعُ مِنْ خُطْبَتِكَ؟، قَالَ :" نَعَمْ "، فَصُنِعَ لَهُ الثَّلَاثَ دَرَجَاتٍ، هُنَّ اللَّوَاتِي عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ وَوُضِعَ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ الَّذِي وَضَعَهُ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُرِيدُ الْمِنْبَرَ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ، خَارَ الْجِذْعُ حَتَّى تَصَدَّعَ وَانْشَقَّ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَحَهُ بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى سَكَنَ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، قَالَ : فَكَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى، صَلَّى إِلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا هُدِمَ الْمَسْجِدُ أَخَذَ ذَلِكَ الْجِذْعَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى بَلِيَ فَأَكَلَتْهُ الْأَرَضَةُ وَعَادَ رُفَاتًا

Zakaria bin Adi informed us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Amr, on the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, on the authority of Tufail bin Ubayy bin Ka’b, On the authority of his father, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was praying to Jad` and addressing him when the mosque was covered with a shelter, and a man from His companions: Shall we not make for you a pergola on which you can stand so that people can see you on Friday and hear your sermon? He said: “Yes,” so the three were made for him. Degrees, they are the ones on the pulpit. When the pulpit was made and placed in its place in which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had placed it, he said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came looking for the pulpit, he passed by it, and when he passed it, the trunk gave way until it cracked and split, so the Messenger of God returned to it. God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, wiped it with his hand until it calmed down, then he returned to the pulpit and said: And when he prayed, he prayed to him, so when the mosque was demolished Ubayy ibn Ka'b took that log and remained with him until it became worn out and the earth ate it up and it was returned as remains.

أَخْبَرَنَا فَرْوَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" حَنَّتْ الْخَشَبَةُ حَنِينَ النَّاقَةِ الْخَلُوجِ "

Farwa told us, Yahya bin Zakaria told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Sa`id bin Abi Kurayb, on the authority of Jabir bin Abd God, may God be pleased with him, said: “The wood bends like the yearning of a camel to go out.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى خَشَبَةٍ، فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ فَجَلَسَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَنَّتْ حَنِينَ الْعِشَارِ حَتَّى وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَسَكَنَتْ "

Muhammad bin Kathir narrated to us, Sulayman bin Kathir narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, on the authority of Hafs bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of Jabir bin Abd God, may God be pleased with him, said: “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was delivering the sermon from a platform, and when the pulpit was made, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sat on it.” And peace be upon her, Hanin Al-Ashar yearned until the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed his hand on her and she calmed down.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَقُومُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُجْعَلَ الْمِنْبَرُ، فَلَمَّا جُعِلَ الْمِنْبَرُ حَنَّ ذَلِكَ الْجِذْعُ حَتَّى سَمِعْنَا حَنِينَهُ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ فَسَكَنَ "

Muhammad bin Kathir informed us, on the authority of Suleiman bin Kathir, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to stand on a trunk before the pulpit was made, and when it was made The pulpit bent that trunk until we heard its moaning, then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed his hand on it and it remained calm.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَطَبَ قَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيامَ، فَكَانَ يَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِ قِيَامُهُ، فَأُتِيَ بِجِذْعِ نَخْلَةٍ فَحُفِرَ لَهُ وَأُقِيمَ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ قَائِمًا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَطَبَ فَطَالَ الْقِيَامُ عَلَيْهِ، اسْتَنَدَ إِلَيْهِ فَاتَّكَأَ عَلَيْهِ فَبَصُرَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ كَانَ وَرَدَ الْمَدِينَةَ ، فَرَآهُ قَائِمًا إِلَى جَنْبِ ذَلِكَ الْجِذْعِ، فَقَالَ : لِمَنْ يَلِيهِ مِنْ النَّاسِ : لَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا يَحْمَدُنِي فِي شَيْءٍ يَرْفُقُ بِهِ، لَصَنَعْتُ لَهُ مَجْلِسًا يَقُومُ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ، جَلَسَ مَا شَاءَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ، قَامَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ :" ائْتُونِي بِهِ "، فَأَتَوْهُ بِهِ، فَأُمِرَهُ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ لَهُ هَذِهِ الْمَرَاقِيَ الثَّلَاثَ، أَوْ الْأَرْبَعَ هِيَ الْآنَ فِي مِنْبَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَوَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ذَلِكَ رَاحَةً، فَلَمَّا فَارَقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجِذْعَ وَعَمَدَ إِلَى هَذِهِ الَّتِي صُنِعَتْ لَهُ، جَزِعَ الْجِذْعُ فَحَنَّ كَمَا تَحِنُّ النَّاقَةُ حِينَ فَارَقَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَزَعَمَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ سَمِعَ حَنِينَ الْجِذْعِ، رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ : " اخْتَرْ أَنْ أَغْرِسَكَ فِي الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي كُنْتَ فِيهِ، فَتَكُونَ كَمَا كُنْتَ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَنْ أَغْرِسَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْرَبَ مِنْ أَنْهَارِهَا وَعُيُونِهَا فَيَحْسُنُ نَبْتُكَ، وَتُثْمِرُ فَيَأْكُلَ أَوْلِيَاءُ اللَّهِ مِنْ ثَمَرَتِكَ وَنَخْلِكَ فَعَلْتُ " فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَهُ : " نَعَمْ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ مَرَّتَيْنِ "، فَسُأَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " اخْتَارَ أَنْ أَغْرِسَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ "

Muhammad bin Humayd told us, Tamim bin Abdul-Mumin told us, Salih bin Hayyan told us, Ibn Buraidah told me, on the authority of his father, He said: Whenever the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, delivered a sermon, he would stand up and prolong his standing, and it was difficult for him to stand up, so a trunk of a palm tree was brought and dug for him. A stand beside him was appointed for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Whenever the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, delivered a sermon, he would stand up for a long time, leaning against him. So he leaned on it, and a man who had entered the city saw him, and he saw him standing next to that trunk, and he said to the people next to him: If only I knew. If Muhammad praises Me for something he is kind to, I will make a seat for him to stand on, so if he wants, he can sit as long as he wants, and if he wants, he can stand, and that was conveyed to the Prophet. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: “Bring him to me.” So they brought him, and he ordered him to make these three or four shelters for him that are now in The pulpit of Medina, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, found comfort in that, so when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, left the trunk and went to this one. It was made for him. He cut the trunk and it yearned just as a she-camel yearned when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, separated from him. Ibn Buraydah claimed, on the authority of his father, that the Prophet prayed May God bless him and grant him peace, when Hanin heard the trunk, he returned to it and placed his hand on it and said: “Choose that I plant you in the place where you were, and you will be As you have been, and if I wish, I may plant you in Paradise, so that you may drink from its rivers and springs, and your plant will improve, and you bear fruit, and so your saints may eat. God, from your fruit and your palm trees, I did.” He claimed that he heard from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying to him: “Yes, I did it twice,” so he asked. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I choose that I plant it in Paradise.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يَخْطُبُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ، فَلَمَّا اتَّخَذَ الْمِنْبَرَ حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ حَتَّى أَتَاهُ، فَمَسَحَهُ "

Othman bin Omar informed us, Muadh bin Al-Ala informed us, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He was “delivering a sermon to a man, so when he took the pulpit, the man bent down until he came to him and anointed him.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : زُلْزِلَتْ الْأَرْضُ عَلَى عَهْدِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَأُخْبِرَ بِذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّا كُنَّا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ K نَرَى الْآيَاتِ بَرَكَاتٍ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَرَوْنَهَا تَخْوِيفًا، بَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ إِذْ حَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا مَاءٌ إِلَّا يَسِيرٌ، " فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ فِي صَحْفَةٍ، وَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ فِيهِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَتْبَجِّسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ "، ثُمَّ نَادَى :" حَيَّ عَلَى الْوَضُوءِ، وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ "، قالَ : فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ فَتَوَضَّئُوا، وَجَعَلْتُ لَا هَمَّ لِي إِلَّا مَا أُدْخِلُهُ بَطْنِي لِقَوْلِهِ : " وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ "، فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ سَالِمَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، فَقَالَ : كَانُوا خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ مِئَةٍ
