أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَأْتِينَا فِي مَنْزِلِنَا، فَآخُذُ مِيضَأَةً لَنَا تَكُونُ مُدًّا وَثُلُثَ مُدٍّ، أَوْ رُبُعَ مُدٍّ فَأَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا "

Zakaria bin Adi informed us, Ubayd Allah bin Amr told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, on the authority of Al-Rabi’ bint Mu’awiz bin Afra, may God be pleased with them, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to come to our house, and he would take a bath for us that would be one mud and a third. A mudd, or a quarter of a mudd, and pour it over him, and he performs ablution three times.”
