أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَبْرَيْنِ، فَقَالَ :" إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ فِي قُبُورِهِمَا، وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ : كَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ، وَكَانَ الْآخَرُ لَا يَسْتَنْزِهُ عَنْ الْبَوْلِ، أَوْ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ "، قَالَ : " ثُمَّ أَخَذَ جَرِيدَةً رَطْبَةً فَكَسَرَهَا، فَغَرَزَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ كُلِّ قَبْرٍ مِنْهُمَا قِطْعَةً "، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " عَسَى أَنْ يُخَفَّفَ عَنْهُمَا حَتَّى تَيْبَسَا "

Al-Mu'alla bin Asad told us, Abd al-Wahid bin Ziyad told us, Al-A'mash told us, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Tawus, on the authority of Ibn Abbas May God be pleased with him. He said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by two graves, and he said: “They will be tortured in their graves, but they will not be tortured for a grave.” One of them was busy gossiping, and the other was not cleansing himself of urine or urine.” He said: “Then he took a damp newspaper.” So he broke it, and planted a piece of them at the head of each grave. Then he said: “Perhaps it will be lightened for them until they become stiff.”
