Yahya bin Yahya told us, Khaled bin Abdullah told us, on the authority of Khalid Al-Hadha, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her : That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “secluded himself, and some of his wives secluded themselves with him while she was experiencing menstruation and saw blood, so perhaps she put a basin of blood underneath her.” He claimed that Aisha saw safflower water and said: “As if this was something so-and-so was finding.”
