Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Al-Awza’i told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, he said: Abu Salama, or Ikrimah told me, he said: Zainab was secluding herself with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and she was shedding blood. He ordered her to “bath herself at every prayer.”
