أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ :" إِنْ كَانَ لِلنُّفَسَاءِ عَادَةٌ، وَإِلَّا جَلَسَتْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً "

Muhammad ibn Yusuf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ash’ath, on the authority of Ata’, who said: “If postpartum women have a habit, otherwise they stay for forty nights.”
