أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ ، قَالَ فِي النُّفَسَاءِ الَّتِي تَرَى الدَّمَ :" تَرَبَّصُ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي "، وَقَالَ الشَّعْبِيُّ : " شَهْرَيْنِ ثُمَّ هِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ "

Musa bin Khalid told us, Mu`tamar told us, on the authority of his father, that Al-Hasan said about the postpartum woman who sees blood: “Wait for forty nights, then “She prays,” and Al-Sha’bi said: “Two months, and then she is in the position of a woman suffering from menstrual bleeding.”
