أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ عَجْلَانَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْ النُّفَسَاءِ وَالْحَائِضِ : هَلْ تَقْضِيَانِ الصَّلَاةَ إِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ، قَالَ :" هُوَ ذَا، أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَوْ فَعَلْنَ ذَلِكَ أَمَرْنَا نِسَاءَنَا بِذَلِكَ "

Ya’la told us, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Aoun, on the authority of Abu Ghalib Ajlan, who said: I asked Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, about postpartum and menstruating women: Do They make up for the prayer if they purify themselves. He said: “These are the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. If they had done that, we would have commanded our wives to do that.”
