أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ لَهَا امْرَأَةٌ : الدَّمُ يَكُونُ فِي الثَّوْبِ فَأَغْسِلُهُ، فَلَا يَذْهَبُ، فَأُقَطِّعُهُ؟، قَالَتْ :" الْمَاءُ طَهُورٌ "

Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Yazid Al-Rashk, he said: I heard Muadha Al-Adawiya, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, A woman said to her: There is blood on the garment, so I wash it, but it does not go away. Should I cut it off? She said: “The water is pure.”
