أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ :" لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَغْسِلُ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، وَهُوَ عَاكِفٌ "

Ya’la bin Ubaid told us, Al-A’mash told us, on the authority of Tamim bin Salamah, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: “I have “I used to wash the head of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while I was menstruating, and he was sedentary.”
