Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1481

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" الْمُحْرِمُ لَا يَنْكِحُ وَلَا يُنْكِحُ "
Uthman ibn Muhammad informed us, Ibn Uyaynah informed us, on the authority of Ayyub ibn Musa, on the authority of Nabih ibn Wahb, on the authority of Aban ibn Uthman, on the authority of Othman, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A person in ihram may neither marry nor be given in marriage.”
