أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، وَشِبْلٍ ، قَالُوا : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَضَيْتَ بَيْنَنَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ خَصْمُهُ وَكَانَ أَفْقَهَ مِنْهُ : صَدَقَ، اقْضِ بَيْنَنَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، وَأْذَنْ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قُلْ "، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ ابْنِي كَانَ عَسِيفًا عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذَا، فَزَنَى بِامْرَأَتِهِ، فَافْتَدَيْتُ مِنْهُ بِمِائَةِ شَاةٍ وَخَادِمٍ، وَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، فَأَخْبَرُونِي أَنَّ عَلَى ابْنِي جَلْدَ مِائَةٍ وَتَغْرِيبَ عَامٍ، وَأَنَّ عَلَى امْرَأَةِ هَذَا الرَّجْمَ، فَقَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ،لَأَقْضِيَنَّ بَيْنَكُمَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ : الْمِائَةُ شَاةٍ وَالْخَادِمُ رَدٌّ عَلَيْكَ، وَعَلَى ابْنِكَ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَتَغْرِيبُ عَامٍ، وَيَا أُنَيْسُ اغْدُ عَلَى امْرَأَةِ هَذَا فَسَلْهَا، فَإِنْ اعْتَرَفَتْ، فَارْجُمْهَا "، فَاعْتَرَفَتْ، فَرَجَمَهَا

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abdullah bin Utbah, on the authority of Abu Huraira, Zayd bin Khalid, and Shibl said: A man came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: I adjure you by God, will you not judge between us? By the Book of God, and his opponent, who was more knowledgeable than him, said: He has spoken the truth, judge between us by the Book of God, and give me permission, O Messenger of God, to speak. So the Messenger of God said God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “Say,” and he said: My son was harsh with the people of this, and he committed adultery with his wife, so I ransomed him with a hundred sheep. And a servant, and I asked men of knowledge, and they told me that my son must be subjected to one hundred lashes and a year of exile, and that this woman must stoning, and he said: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, I will judge between you according to the Book of God: a hundred sheep and a servant shall be returned to you, and your son shall be given a hundred lashes.” And a general exile, and O Unis, go against a woman of this impurity, and if she confesses, stone her.” So she confessed, and he stoned her.
