أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ خِشْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" جَعَلَ الدِّيَةَ فِي الْخَطَإِ أَخْمَاسًا "

Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Abu Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Zayd bin Jubayr, on the authority of Khushaf bin Malik, on the authority of Abdullah : The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “divided the blood money for a mistake into fifths.”
