Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1647

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ :" وَفِي كُلِّ إِصْبَعٍ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الْيَدِ وَالرِّجْلِ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ، وَفِي الْمُوضِحَةِ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ "
Al-Hakam bin Musa narrated to us, Yahya bin Hamza narrated to us, on the authority of Sulaiman bin Dawud, Al-Zuhri narrated to me, on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wrote to the people of Yemen: “And on every finger of The fingers of the hand and toe are ten camels, and in the illustration there are five camels.”
