أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيُّ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ فَظَفِرَ بِالْمُشْرِكِينَ فَأَسْرَعَ النَّاسُ فِي الْقَتْلِ حَتَّى قَتَلُوا الذُّرِّيَّةَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ :" مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ ذَهَبَ بِهِمْ الْقَتْلُ حَتَّى قَتَلُوا الذُّرِّيَّةَ؟ أَلا لا تُقْتَلَنَّ ذُرِّيَّةً ثَلَاثًا "

Asim bin Yusuf told us, Abu Ishaq Al-Fazari told us, on the authority of Yunus bin Ubaid, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Al-Aswad bin Saree’, he said: We went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in a campaign, and he defeated the polytheists, so the people were quick to kill until they killed offspring, and that reached The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “What is the matter with people who have been so murdered that they kill their offspring? Don’t you kill offspring three times?”
