Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1827

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ ".
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : الْمُحَاقَلَةُ : بَيْعُ الزَّرْعِ بِالْبُرِّ.
وَقَالُوا : كَذَلِكَ يَقُولُ ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ
Amr bin Aoun told us, Khaled bin Abdullah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr H, and Musaddad told us, Yahya told us, on the authority of Muhammad Ibn Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Saeed, said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade the practice of competition and competition.”
Abdullah said: Muhaqala means selling crops for wheat.
And they said: This is what Ibn al-Musayyab says.
