أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتِ الْآيَةُ فِي آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي الرِّبَا، " خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَلَاهُنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ، ثُمَّحَرَّمَ التِّجَارَةَ فِي الْخَمْرِ "

Ya’la told us, Al-A’mash told us, on the authority of Muslim, on the authority of Masruq, on the authority of Aisha, she said: When the verse was revealed at the end of Surat Al-Baqarah Concerning usury, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out and taught the people, then he forbade trading in wine.”
