Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1886

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَعْقِلٍ عَنِ الْمُزَارَعَةِ، فَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتُ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَارَعَةِ ".
قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ : تَقُولُ بِهِ؟.
قَالَ : لَا أَقُولُ بِالْأَوَّلِ
Muhammad bin Uyaynah informed us, on the authority of Ali bin Mushar, on the authority of Abu Ishaq Al-Shaybani, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Sa’ib, he said: I asked Abdul Allah bin Maqil on the authority of farming, and he said: Thabit bin Al-Dahhak Al-Ansari informed me: that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “forbade “Farming.”
He said to Abdullah: Do you say that?
He said: I do not say the first
