Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #526

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ بِلَالًا" رَكَزَ الْعَنَزَةَ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ، وَوَضَعَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَدُورُ فِي أَذَانِهِ ".
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : حَدِيثُ الثَّوْرِيِّ أَصَحُّ
Abdullah bin Muhammad told us, Abbad told us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Aoun bin Abi Juhayfah, on the authority of his father, that Bilal “focused The goat, then he called the call to prayer, and put his two fingers in his ears, and I saw him turning to his ears.”
Abdullah said: The hadith of Al-Thawri is more authentic.
