أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ إِذَا أَدْرَكْتَ أُمَرَاءَ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا؟ قُلْتُ : مَا تَأْمُرُنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ :" صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، وَاجْعَلْ صَلَاتَكَ مَعَهُمْ نَافِلَةً ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : ابْنُ الصَّامِتِ هُوَ : ابْنُ أَخِي أَبِي ذَرٍّ

Yazid bin Harun told us, Hammam told us, Abu Imran al-Juni told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin al-Samit, on the authority of Abu Dharr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “O Abu Dharr, what would you do if you found leaders delaying the prayer beyond its appointed time?” I said: “What do you command me to do?” O Messenger of God? He said: “Pray the prayer at its appointed time, and make your prayer with them voluntary.”
