Abu Asim told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, Abu Al-Zubayr told us, that he heard Jabir say: Or Jabir said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said Peace and blessings of God be upon him: “There is nothing between a servant and polytheism and disbelief except the abandonment of prayer.”
Abu Muhammad said to me: If the slave abandons it without an excuse or a reason, and it must be said: there is disbelief in him, and he is not described as disbelief.
