أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : " يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ؟فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : # وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ سورة البقرة آية 143 # "

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: It was said: “O Messenger of God, have you seen those who died? And they were praying to the Holy House? Then God Almighty revealed: “And God would not make your faith to be lost.” Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 143 #
