Abu al-Walid al-Tayalisi told us, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Nasr bin Asim, on the authority of Malik bin al-Huwayrith, that the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “When he said takbeer, he would raise his hands until they were in line with his ears, and when he wanted to bow, and when he raised his head after bowing.”
