أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا أَتَيْتُمْ الصَّلَاةَ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ، فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ، فَصَلُّوا، وَمَا سُبِقْتُمْ، فَأَتِمُّوا "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Shayban told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Qatada, on the authority of his father, he said: He said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: “When you perform the prayer, you must remain calm. Whatever you catch up with, pray, and whatever you get ahead of, complete it.”
