أَخْبَرَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى : وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ "

Qubaisa told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ziyad bin Ulaqah, on the authority of Qutbah bin Malik, who said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. It is recited at dawn in the first rak’ah: “And the palm trees are in trees that have fresh growth.”
