Khaled bin Mukhlid told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of his father, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace When he begins the prayer, he raises his hands to the level of his shoulders, and when he bows, he does the same, and when he raises his head after bowing, he does the same. He said: “God hears whoever praises Him. O God, our Lord, and to You be praise,” and he does not do that while prostrating.
Othman bin Umar informed us, Malik bin Anas informed us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Like him.
However, he said: “Our Lord, to You is praise.”
