أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، إِذْ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّاللَّهَ قِبَلَ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ، فَلَا يَبْزُقَنَّ أَوْ قَالَ : لَا يَتَنَخَّعَنَّ "، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَحُكَّ مَكَانُهَا، وَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَلُطِخَتْ.
قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ : بِزَعْفَرَانٍ

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace While he was delivering a sermon, he saw phlegm in the direction of the mosque, so he became angry at the people of the mosque and said: “Indeed, God has kissed one of you when he is in his prayer. So they will not spit, or he said: They will not spit, then he ordered it to be rubbed, and he ordered it to be smeared.
