أَخْبَرَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ :" مَا تَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ قَطُّ "

Farwa bin Abi Al-Mughra told us, Ali bin Mushar told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, never omitted two rak’ahs after the afternoon prayer.”
