أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ أَنْبَأَنِي، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى يَقُولُ : مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى غَيْرُ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ ، فَإِنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ أَنَّهُ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ" اغْتَسَلَ فِي بَيْتِهَا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ، قَالَتْ : وَلَمْ أَرَهُ صَلَّى صَلَاةً أَخَفَّ مِنْهَا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ "

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, he said: Amr ibn Murrah informed me, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Laila saying: What Someone told us that he saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, praying the forenoon prayer, except for Umm Hani’, for she mentioned that on the day of the conquest of Mecca, he took a bath. In her house, then he prayed eight rak’ahs. She said: I did not see him praying a lighter prayer than it, except that he performed the bowing and prostration completely.”
