أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يُصَلِّي مَا بَيْنَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى الْفَجْرِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُسَلِّمُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَيُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ، وَيَسْجُدُ فِي سُبْحَتِهِ بِقَدْرِ مَا يَقْرَأُ أَحَدُكُمْ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ مِنْ الْأَذَانِ الْأَوَّلِ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ، فَيَخْرُجَ مَعَهُ "

Yazid bin Harun informed us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhib, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: It was The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed eleven rak’ahs between the evening prayer and dawn, saying the salutation in every two rak’ahs, and performing the Witr prayer with one rak’ah. He prostrates in his rosary as much as one of you recites fifty verses before raising his head. If the muezzin is silent during the first call to prayer, he bows. Pray two light rak'ahs, then lie down until the muezzin comes to him and goes out with him.”
