Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #873

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ هُوَ ابْنُ صَبِيحٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ ".
وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ، فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ يَتَجَوَّزُ فِيهِمَا ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : أَقُولُ بِهِ
Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Rabi’, he is Ibn Subaih Al-Basri, he said: I saw Al-Hasan praying two rak’ahs and the imam "He gets engaged."
Al-Hasan said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If one of you comes and the imam is delivering the sermon, let him pray two light rak’ahs, and he will pass. "In both of them."
Abu Muhammad said: I say so
