Muhammad bin Kathir informed us, on the authority of Sulayman bin Kathir, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, he said: “ The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was standing on a trunk before the pulpit was made. When the pulpit was made, that trunk bent down until we heard Hunaynah, then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed his hand on him, and he calmed down.”
