أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُرَاوِحِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟.
قَالَ :" إِيمَانٌ بِاللَّهِ، وَجِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ "

Ja`far bin Aoun told us, Hisham bin Urwa told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu al-Mawrawih, on the authority of Abu Dharr, he said: A man asked the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: Which deeds are best?
He said: “Faith in God, and jihad for the sake of God.”
