حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ ، عَنْ أَبِيه : أَنَّ عُمَرَ قَالَ فِي الْمُشَرَّكَة :" لَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ الْأَبُ إِلَّا قُرْبًا

Muhammad ibn al-Salt told us, Abu Shihab told us, on the authority of al-Hajjaj, on the authority of Abd al-Malik ibn al-Mughirah, on the authority of Sa`id ibn Fayrouz, on the authority of his father: Omar said about sharing: “The father only increased their closeness.”
