أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ الْأَعْوَرِ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي فَرِيضَةِ بَنِي عَمٍّ، أَحَدُهُمْ أَخٌ لِأُمٍّ، فَقَالَ : الْمَالُ أَجْمَعُ لِأَخِيهِ لِأُمِّه، فَأَنْزَلَهُ بِحِسَابِ، أَوْ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْأَخِ مِنْ الْأَبِ وَالْأُمِّ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ عَلِيٌّ ، سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهَا، وَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ : " يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ، إِنْ كَانَ لَفَقِيهًا، أَمَّا أَنَافَلَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَزِيدَهُ عَلَى مَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ : سَهْمٌ السُّدُسُ، ثُمَّ يُقَاسِمُهُمْ كَرَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ "

Abu Nu'aym told us, Zuhayr told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Harith Al-A'war, he said: Abdullah was brought in the duty of the sons of uncles, one of them. A maternal brother, so he said: The wealth is more for his maternal brother, so he placed him in a reckoning, or in the status of a brother from father and mother, so when Ali came, I asked him about it, and told him what Abdullah said, and he said: “May God have mercy on him, if he is a jurist, but I would not have added to what he imposed.” God is his: a sixth share, then he divides it with them as one of them.”
