أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ قَوْمًا اخْتَصَمُوا إِلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْه فِي وَلَدِ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ، فَجَاءَ عَصَبَةُ أَبِيهِ يَطْلُبُونَ مِيرَاثَه، فَقَالَ :" إِنَّ أَبَاهُ كَانَ تَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُ، فَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ شَيْءٌ، فَقَضَى بِمِيرَاثِهِ لِأُمِّهِ، وَجَعَلَهَا عَصَبَتَهُ "

Muhammad Ibn Al-Ala informed us, Yahya Ibn Abi Bukayr informed us, Ibrahim Ibn Tahman informed us, on the authority of Simak Ibn Harb, on the authority of Ikrimah On the authority of Ibn Abbas: Some people disputed with Ali, may God Almighty be pleased with him, regarding the children of those who are cursed, so his father’s gang came asking for his inheritance. He said: “His father disowned him, so you have nothing of his inheritance. So he decided that his inheritance would go to his mother and made her his concubine.”
