حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَا نَرِثُ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ وَلَا يَرِثُونَا، إِلَّا الرَّجُلُ يَرِثُ عَبْدَهُ، أَوْ أَمَتَهُ "

Muhammad bin Issa told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Al-Ash’ath, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Jabir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “No We inherit from the People of the Book and they do not inherit from us, except a man inherits his male or female slave.”
