حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَمَّرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا خُصَيْفٌ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ : أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَعْتَقَتْ عَبْدًا لَهَا، ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ ابْنَهَا وَأَخَاهَا، ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ مَوْلَاهَا، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنُ الْمَرْأَةِ وَأَخُوهَا فِي مِيرَاثِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مِيرَاثُهُ لِابْنِ الْمَرْأَةِ، فَقَالَ أَخُوهَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّه، ِلَوْ أَنَّهُ جَرَّ جَرِيرَةً، عَلَى مَنْ كَانَتْ؟ قَالَ : عَلَيْكَ "

Muhammad bin Issa told us, Muammar told us, Khasif told us, on the authority of Ziyad bin Abi Maryam: A woman freed a slave of hers, then she died. She left her son and her brother, then her master died, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave the woman’s son and her brother his inheritance, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: May God bless him and grant him peace: “His inheritance goes to the woman’s son. Her brother said: O Messenger of God, if he had brought a sin, who would it be upon? He said: On you.”
