حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" الْخَالُ وَارِثٌ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: The maternal uncle is an heir.”
