حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الْمَعْمَرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ : فِي عَبْدٍ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ، أَعْتَقَ أَحَدَهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ وَأَمْسَكَهُ الْآخَرُ، قَالَ :" مِيرَاثُهُ بَيْنَهُمَا "

Harun bin Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Abu Sufyan Al-Maamari, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Ibn Tawus, on the authority of his father: Concerning a slave between two men, who was freed. One of them got his share and the other kept it, saying: “His inheritance is between them.”
