Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2411

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ كَاتَبَ عَبْدًا لَهُ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ وَلَدًا رِجَالًا وَنِسَاءً، قَالَ :" لِلذُّكُورِ دُونَ الْإِنَاثِ "
Ubayd Allah told us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Mansour, who said: I asked Abraham about a man who wrote a slave to him, then he died and left behind a number of sons. And women. He said: “For males, not females.”
