حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غَيْلَانَ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ حِينَ أَوْصَى، قَالَ : " نَشَهُّدُ هَذَا فَاشْهَدْ بِهِ :نَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وَيُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ، وَيَكْفُرُ بِالطَّاغُوتِ عَلَى ذَلِكَ يَحْيَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، وَيَمُوتُ، وَيُبْعَثُ، وَأَوْصَى فِيمَا رَزَقَهُ اللَّهُ فِيمَا تَرَكَ إِنْ حَدَثَ بِهِ حَدَثٌ وَهُوَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، إِنْ لَمْ يُغَيِّرْ شَيْئًا مِمَّا فِي هَذِهِ الْوَصِيَّةِ ".
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، قَالَ : هَذِهِ وَصِيَّةُ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Hafs bin Ghaylan, on the authority of Makhoul, when he gave orders, saying: “We bear witness to this, so bear witness.” With it: We bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and believes in God, and disbelieves in the tyrant upon He will live, God willing, and die and be resurrected, and he will bequeath what God has provided him and what he left behind, if something happens to him and he is such and such, if not. Change anything in this commandment.”
Al-Hakam told us, Al-Walid told us, he said: Ibn Thuban told me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Makhoul, he said: This is the will of Abu Al-Darda’.
