حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ : " فِي الرَّجُلِ يُوصِي بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ الثُّلُثِ فَرَضِيَ الْوَرَثَةُ، قَالَ :هُوَ جَائِزٌ ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : أَجَزْنَاهُ يَعْنِي فِي الْحَيَاةِ

Abu Al-Numan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Hisham, on the authority of Al-Hasan: “With regard to a man who bequeaths more than a third of what is required of the heirs, he said “It is permissible.”
Abu Muhammad said: We rewarded him, meaning in life.
