Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2456

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ : " أَنَّ أَبَاهُ زِيَادَ بْنَ مَطَرٍ أَوْصَى، فَقَالَ :وَصِيَّتِي مَا اتَّفَقَ عَلَيْهِ فُقَهَاءُ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ ، فَسَأَلْتُ، فَاتَّفَقُوا عَلَى الْخُمُسِ "
Suleiman bin Harb narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Ishaq bin Suwayd, on the authority of Al-Ala bin Ziyad: “His father, Ziyad bin Matar He made a will, and he said: “My will is what the jurists of the people of Basra agreed upon, so I asked, and they agreed on five.”
