أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الْمَرْءُ أَحَقُّ بِثُلُثِ مَالِهِ، يَضَعُهُ فِي أَيِّ مَالِهِ شَاءَ "

Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Suleiman bin Bilal told us, Ja`far bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qusayt, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A person has the right to a third of his wealth. He can put it in whatever wealth he wishes.”
