Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Hafs, on the authority of Makhoul: “Concerning a man who bequeaths dinars to another man for the sake of God, and the person he bequeathed dies. Before he took it away from his family, he said: “It is to the guardians of the deceased, the testator. They shall carry it out in the way of God.”
