حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ ، عَنْ مُغِيثٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ :" عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ، فَإِنَّهُ فَهْمُ الْعَقْلِ، وَنُورُ الْحِكْمَةِ، وَيَنَابِيعُ الْعِلْمِ، وَأَحْدَثُ الْكُتُبِ بِالرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا، وَقَالَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، إِنِّي مُنَزِّلٌ عَلَيْكَ تَوْرَاةً حَدِيثَةً، تَفْتَحُ فِيهَا أَعْيُنًا عُمْيًا، وَآذَانًا صُمًّا، وَقُلُوبًا غُلْفًا "
Amr bin Asim told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Asim bin Bahdala, on the authority of Mughith, on the authority of Ka’b, who said: “You must recite the Qur’an. For he understood the mind, the light of wisdom, and the springs of knowledge, and he made a covenant with the Most Gracious in the Book, and said in the Torah: O Muhammad, indeed I will be sent down. “You will be given a modern Torah, in which you will open the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, and the hearts of the uncircumcised.”
