حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ قَتَادَةُ ، يَقُولُ :" اعْمُرُوا بِهِ قُلُوبَكُمْ، وَاعْمُرُوا بِهِ بُيُوتَكُمْ "، قَالَ : أُرَاهُ يَعْنِي : الْقُرْآنَ

Al-Mu'alla bin Asad told us, Salam, meaning Ibn Abi Muti', told us, he said: Qatadah used to say: "Follow your hearts with it, and live with it. Your homes.” He said: I think he means: the Qur’an.
